Job Title: Executive Director – Durham Hospital Foundation
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to lead our community hospital foundation.
As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans, fundraising initiatives, and community engagement activities to support our mission of providing quality healthcare services to our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve the foundation's goals and objectives.
- Lead fundraising efforts, including donor cultivation, grant writing, and special events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, community partners, stakeholders and volunteers.
- Oversee the foundation's financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
- Collaborate with the hospital leadership to align foundation activities with the hospital's mission and needs.
- Represent the foundation at community events, conferences, and meetings.
Qualifications:
- Degree, diploma or relevant experience in fields such as nonprofit management, business administration, communications or healthcare administration.
- Proven experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry and fundraising best practices.
- Experience with financial management and budgeting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fundraising software.
