The Government of Canada is now accepting applications for the Sustainable Development Goals Funding Program. The program will fund projects that increase public awareness, and share best practices or lessons learned that support and enhance Canada’s progress on the Sustainable Development Goals.
The program seeks to:
- increase public awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),
- support new partnerships to advance action, and
- identify and implement innovative initiatives to drive progress on the SDGs.
Eligible organizations:
- Not-for-profit organizations,
- Municipalities, provincial and territorial governments,
- Indigenous organizations,
- Coalitions, Networks and Committees,
- Research organizations or institutes,
- Educational, health, and social institutions, and
- For-profit organizations (with exceptions).
Application deadline: January 12, 2024, at 11:59 pm, Pacific Standard Time (PST).
Funding amount: Up to $200,000 for a project up to 24 months (maximum $100,000 per fiscal year).
