CivicAction and the Diversity Institute, with funding support from the Government of Ontario, released the report: Diversity and inclusion in non-profit leadership in Ontario: Are we there yet? The report sheds light on the representation and experiences of diverse leaders from across Ontario. The Diversity Institute team developed an online data collection method to capture gender and race data of leaders across 803 nonprofits. A survey was also conducted to gather diverse perspectives of success factors from leaders. The report looks at the state of equity, diversity, and inclusion in nonprofit sector boards and executive teams, as well as the experiences of diverse leaders in Ontario’s nonprofit sector.
