Community Prevention Worker – Thunder Bay

Community Prevention Workers provide culturally grounded STBBI & harm reduction education, one-to-one service navigation supports, access to harm reduction supplies and STBBI testing, run drop-in programming and facilitate cultural workshops and educational groups for community. Community Prevention Workers report to the Team Lead with the following areas of responsibilities: Harm Reduction, Community, and Education Programs and Services; Testing, Treatment & Linkage to Care.

Manager, Stewardship

WWF-Canada is seeking to hire a Manager, Stewardship who will play an instrumental role in leading the stewardship of mass-market donors (donations between $1 to $10,000). Designing and developing the stewardship strategy and execution, the Manager will work cross-functionally to cultivate donors, build and grow donor relationships, provide recognition and acknowledgement, as well as build or enhance supporting programs and processes.

WCS Canada has been working in various ways and with various partners to bring these other values into public discussions and decision-making about and for northern Ontario and the so-called Ring of Fire area. As part of these efforts, WCS Canada is planning to create an online space for local people, primarily Indigenous Peoples, within, around, and downstream of the so-called Ring of Fire area to share their stories about why the land is important and valuable to them.
