The Director of Care reports to the Executive Director at Hospice Wellington. This is a key senior management role providing oversite to the Residential Team. The Director of Care (DOC) requires a strong commitment to the position. The DOC is primarily responsible for providing overall leadership and management of interdisciplinary (10 bed) hospice residence services.
The role supports partner relations administration and processes donations and receipting. If you are the right person for this position you have a desire to serve and are a team player with a heart for God and people. You possess well-honed donor relations skills and proven experience in this area.

Our staff have the unique opportunity to work in and learn about a Residential Therapeutic Community modality of treatment – STC is one of only two funded Therapeutic Communities in Ontario. Staff in this role will also work within our Safe Beds program which is a crisis stabilization space, and supporting a harm reduction approach to care.

Circle Home Furniture Bank needs 4 or 5 volunteers to monitor newcomer families and their co-sponsors to ensure successful settlement in their first 12 months post arrival and also to communicate with co-sponsors after applications submitted to IRCC well in advance of refugees arrival to ensure both co-sponsors and refugees’ learning, knowledge of Canada and expectations will be managed to effect a smooth arrival, successful settlement team to support the newcomers and prepared newcomers.
The Director of Marketing and Communications role is a newly formed, full-time position, reporting to the Vice President, Philanthropy and Communications.
The role primarily supports youth and adults with complex developmental, physical and behavioural needs. Along with the support of the leadership team and behavioural therapist the SSS will be responsible for effectively implementing behavioural support plans and protocols and assist with clinical assessments as needed. The position will be responsible for the collection of data on programs and be actively involved in providing person centered care, a strong advocate for the people supported.
Puppy sitters offer breaks for our trainers and puppy raisers by taking a dog into their home for short periods.
