The Edible Garden Project (EGP) is a program of North Shore Neighbourhood House. The EGP is actively increasing land used for food production, building knowledge and skills around food gardening and working with municipalities to increase opportunities for urban agriculture.

Job Title: Grant WriterCourage in Action is a registered charity helping women coming from difficult circumstances move forward in their lives. Our goal is to provide our participants with the tools, motivation and hope that uplifts and inspires them to create new or different outcomes.Courage in action is currently looking for a volunteer grant writer with excellent written communication skills to assist with grant writing and grant submissions.
The Social Engagement and Activity position is a great place for volunteers to engage with the community directly, build relationships and learn about the community while working with a vulnerable population. The volunteer will be able to develop their skills working as part of a team and see the impact of their actions immediately.
Do you enjoy building? Volunteer overseas with building opportunities in around 10 countries. You don’t need experience for most of the projects supervisors and masons teach you everything you need to know.
