Giiwedin Anang Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator will be a member of the Giiwedin Anang team. The incumbent facilitates the daily operation of the programs by completing all intakes, Circle bookings, scheduling, correspondence, and other admin duties during regular work hours.

Finance Assistant

Aboriginal Legal Services (ALS) is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support our Finance department with daily financial tasks such as processing invoices, assisting in budget preparation, and aiding in financial reporting. This part-time position requires a minimum of three days per week of availability. The ideal candidate will hold an Advanced College Diploma in Accounting or a related field and possess a strong aptitude for numbers and online tools.

Supervised Access Worker

The Supervised Access Worker will be a member of the Giiwedin Anang team. The incumbent facilitates the daily operation of the program by coordinating parenting visits and monitoring interactions between children and parents during supervised access hours. They will write reports for the court when necessary. The incumbent will arrange cultural programming with assistance from the Giiwedin Anang Community Council.

Facilitator – Dreams from Growing Children

Dreams from Growing Children is an Indigenous parenting program focused on healthy boundaries and healthy relationships. The selected facilitator will join the Giiwedin Anang team, playing a pivotal role in the program's success. This individual will oversee the daily operations, facilitating 40 sessions both at our Bellwoods Ave location and within the broader community within Toronto and Peel.

Executive Assistant

Aboriginal Legal Services (ALS) is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide critical administrative support to senior management. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including clerical tasks, event coordination, data management, and maintaining confidentiality. Your commitment to upholding confidentiality, combined with your willingness to take initiative, will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of our organization.
