Housing Support Worker – Contract

The Housing Support Worker will assist with the securing of appropriate housing within the community, liaise with landlords, and advocate on behalf of clients. Support and instruction will be provided to individuals as needed, to facilitate learning and maintaining activities of daily living which endeavour to prevent future involvement with the criminal justice system and retain housing.

Community Support Worker

Provides support within our residential setting and in the Community with individuals living independently. Will perform a continuum of functions, including developing support plans with clients, client, and systems advocacy, symptom management, life skills teaching, supportive counseling, family support, and crisis support.

Housing Support Worker

Provides housing support to individuals aged 16 or older who have a serious mental illness/concurrent disorder, are in conflict with the law, and living in the community. Assist with the securing of appropriate housing, liaise with landlords, advocate on behalf of the clients and support learning and maintaining activities of daily living.
