2SLGBTQIA+ Residential Housing Worker (Overnight Shift)

he RHW is responsible for the facilitation of life-skills workshops, responding to escalating situations when needed, applying and verbal de-escalation and crisis prevention techniques in defusing potentially volatile situations. The RHW will connect youth to support and resources to end homelessness by offering rental subsidies, emotional support, system navigation, coaching, and crisis support. This role will support youth to identify, activate, and enhance natural support in their lives.

2SLGBTQIA+ Support Worker

The SW is responsible for the facilitation of life-skills workshops, and responding to escalating situations when needed, applying verbal de-escalation and crisis prevention techniques in defusing potentially volatile situations.

2SLGBTQIA+ Housing Manager (Interim)

Reporting to the Director of Transitional Housing, the Housing Manager will supervise staff and services at the House. This role will provide day-to-day supervision, mentoring and performance management to housing staff, ensuring effective teamwork, high standards of work quality and organizational performance, customer service excellence, and continuous learning, while encouraging innovation, evaluating performance and leading staff development through motivation and training.

Clinical Manager

This role will provide day-to-day supervision, mentorship, and performance enhancement to Clinical Counsellors and our Drop-In staff, ensuring effective teamwork, high standards of work quality and organizational performance, customer service excellence, and continuous learning, and program planning. The manager will encourage innovation, evaluating performance and leading staff development through motivation and training, creating a safe and supportive environment for all participants and staff

Black 2SLGBTQIA+ Clinical Counsellor

Reporting to the Clinical Program Manager, the Clinical Counsellor will provide single session and short-term counselling, along with utilizing ongoing counselling skills to youth, using evidence-based practices aligned with needs identified at the time of intake and assessment to Friends of Ruby. The counsellor will also work with Drop-in participants and Friends of Ruby’s Home resident.

Annual Giving Coordinator

The Annual Giving Coordinator will join the Direct Marketing and Development team and will play an integral role in supporting the team’s fundraising goals by supporting annual giving campaigns, gifts in kind, 3rd party fundraisers and donor stewardship. The successful candidate will have experience in email campaigns, direct mail campaigns, 3rd party fundraising and donor stewardship.
