Description
Braeburn Neighbourhood Place is a multi-service non-profit organization serving families with children through EarlyON Child and Family Centres, Licensed Childcare, Boys and Girls Club, and Food Security Programs.
We are currently looking for Supply Staff for our EarlyON and Childcare centres: Successful candidates will be passionate about working with young children in Childcare settings, and engaging with families to support the healthy growth and development of children birth-6years.
Hours of work
The times work will be for 3 – 8 hour shifts for programs that operate between the hours of 7:30am and 6:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Engaging with young children and their families/caregivers
- Supervision of young children
- Assist with routines/program set up
- Will require some lifting (for room set up, storage of equipment etc.)
Qualifications
- Must have good communication skills in English (ability to communicate in another language is an asset)
- Proven team skills
- 1st Aid/CPR certification level C
- Previous experience in parent-child and or children's programs
Assets (not required to apply)
- RECE with Diploma or Degree (in good standing with CECE)
- Spoken or written 2nd language
- Knowledge of HDLH and Early Learning Framework
- G-level driver’s license, access to a vehicle

Compensation: $18.00 – $26.00 per hour plus 4% vacation pay (rates of pay are determined by years of experience, education and other competencies.
