Description
Give a Heart To Africa (GHTA) is a grass-roots non-prorgit organization located in Moshi, Tanzania striving to empower local adult women via free education and entrepreneurship. Each year we accept 50 women into our program and upon graduation assist some of them with starting a small business.
We are registered as a non-profit organization in Tanzania and Canada and are 100% volunteer run. We do not employ any Western staff, only Tanzanian staff all of whom are former graduates.
We are in search of a volunteer grant writer to assist us with the following duties:
1. research possible grant opportunities with focus on government and foundations
2. write grant proposals and apply for grants
3. work with our general manager in Tanzania and board of directors in Canada about possible grant opportunities
