This includes client service planning and coordination, pre- employment services, job matching, placements and incentives, education, and work transitions support. Career Connection provides support to connect businesses with employment candidates who have an intellectual disability. The Supervisor role is responsible for the overall operation of Career Connection, working under the guidance of the Community Living Support Manager, Day Supports. This position is responsible for supervising the Career Connection team, ensuring high quality support is being provided. Onsite presence may be required during off-hours, including both evenings and weekends.
Provide the assistance needed by Deaf/hard of hearing newcomers to Canada in their journey to secure and retain meaningful employment. Services delivered using a person-centred approach include resume/cover letter assistance, job search/interview techniques, job development with employers, job retention support and workplace accommodation strategies.
