Position Summary
To achieve our organizational goals, we offer a completely digital experience for our clients. In addition to our website, this includes 3 digital products: search engine (Google but for cities research), learning guides (Coursera for city development), and our Creative Communities Lab (a talent hub for community organizations). We also have several back end teams who support our work including finance, marketing & communications, and people & culture.

You will be responsible for working with our President to support our need to better understand our data, find insights, and opportunities across the organization. This will not only include creating access to data, building dashboards, but also guiding team members through our annual strategic planning initiative.
 

Duties & Responsibilities
With the support of the President, you will be responsible for assisting the Board in accessing the data needed to answer important questions, building data dashboards, and finding insights within the data across the organization that will assist us in meeting our KPI’s. Lastly, you will be responsible for assisting team leads in building their strategic plans.

 

Qualifications

  • Graduated or enrolled in a University degree or College diploma or certificate program

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team, a give and take approach but also the ability to stand up for something you feel strongly about

  • Experience in working with data and building dashboards

  • Ability to work with team members to build strategic plans

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • A flexible, curious, and creative mentality

  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to keep on top of a workload
