We are looking for 1 Legal Counsellor/Advocate to join our team and provide supports based on clients’ needs including legal supports, accompaniments to court and advocacy, access, information and referral to services and resources, risk assessment and safety planning, counselling, and emotional support.

Workshop Facilitator

Facilitate specialized workshops for older adults (60+) that supports healthy living specifically mental and emotional wellbeing. The facilitator will create 1-1.5 hour workshops that inform members with accessible and easy to understand practices to form healthy habits. Topics can include but are not limited to: self-care, emotional regulation, grief, mindfulness and meditation and conflict resolution.

Bilingual Youth Counsellor | Intervenant·e jeunesse bilingue

The Youth Program Counsellor offers assessment/referral, short-term counseling, crisis intervention, school & community workshops and groups for youth in grades 7 to 12.L’intervenant·e jeunesse offre des évaluations de besoins et d’aiguillage, du counseling à court terme, de l’intervention en situation de crise, des ateliers et de groupes scolaires ainsi que communautaires pour les jeunes de la 7e à la 12e année.

Black 2SLGBTQIA+ Clinical Counsellor

Reporting to the Clinical Program Manager, the Clinical Counsellor will provide single session and short-term counselling, along with utilizing ongoing counselling skills to youth, using evidence-based practices aligned with needs identified at the time of intake and assessment to Friends of Ruby. The counsellor will also work with Drop-in participants and Friends of Ruby’s Home resident.
