Jack Russell Terrier Rescue Ontario Inc. (JRTRO) is Registered Charity 779518885RR0001 dedicated to providing temporary shelter, veterinary medical care and other care for stray, abandoned, abused, injured, neglected and surrendered Jack Russell Terriers and other small dogs in need of human assistance and care for the purpose of finding appropriate new homes for the dogs.
The dogs are assessed for temperament, medical conditions, and other issues arising from their experiences, and placed in one of the organization’s network of foster homes on a short-term basis and after a period of adjustment they are made available for adoption in forever homes.
All Jack Russell Terriers are spayed or neutered, as required, and their vaccinations are updated prior to being placed in new homes.
It is our mission to provide ongoing educational opportunities for the public about the Jack Russell Terrier, its temperament, characteristics and handling as well as activities that promote the health of Jack Russell Terriers and other dogs.
