Description
This is a volunteer based position for a event committee member for a Non-Profit Organization in the healthcare industry. We are flexible with schedules and understanding of circumstances. It is a low-burden position that requires 5-6 hours of work per week and is suitable for individuals looking to get experience in the non-profit sector and healthcare industries. There is opportunity for growth in the organization and dental care provided for those that are located in the lower mainland.
Tasks include and not limited to:
* Raise awareness in the community with fun and powerful event ideas
– Event types:
– Fundraisers (bottle drive, krispy kreme, etc.)
– Worshops (dental health and acre etc.)
– Info nights (Guest speakers, Q&A, etc.)
* Brainstorm ideas for events and create a detail plan for each.
* Budget cost and profit assessment that is approved by the finance team.
* Create a tentative timeline for events.
* Organize time slots and gather committed volunteers
Successful candidates will be required to complete a criminal record check.
