Other details:
-
This position would be remote
-
Work hours are flexible – you can create your own schedule
-
Some weeks or months may be busier than others. The weeks before the medical trips would be the busiest, and you may need to work more than 20 hours (you can offset that during other times)
-
It would be great for you to travel to Grey/Bruce/Huron counties a few times to engage local businesses/organizations on some of the fundraising campaigns, but if this is not possible, please still apply as this is not a 'dealbreaker'.
Since this position is currently grant-funded, the ability to support fundraising or grant writing activities could generate a full-time position. We have a contract Grant Writer supporting us until September 2024, and we are hiring a consulting company to put together a Fundraising Plan with campaign ideas and help form partnerships. Experience with funding development is welcomed.
This is a $10,000 contract position based on grant funding.
Your work schedule can be flexible, we estimate an average 10 hours/week from January-June 2024.
We are applying to another grant and hope to be able to increase the salary and length of the position for another 10 months ($18,000). We should expect to know by February 2024.
