Position Summary

Our Creative Communities Lab is a digital tool that connects neighbourhood organizations with talent from post-secondary institutions to complete projects that improve the wellbeing of residents. This could include marketing projects, but also policy analysis and computing big data.

As our Coordinator, you will be responsible for onboarding and supporting our Lab Partners as they get support from the Lab. Once a partner has registered, you will create their online profiles and connect with them regularly to support them in developing projects, adding projects to the Lab and completing the projects.

Qualifications

  • Graduated or enrolled in a University degree, College diploma or certificate program

  • Have an interest in either sales, marketing, stakeholder engagement, urban planning or a related field

  • Strong interpersonal skills and are good at motivating others

  • Possess creative skills, the ability to think outside of the box, and are adaptive to changing circumstances

  • You are organized 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Have a passion for innovation and building strong neighborhoods

  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to keep on top of workload

  • Able to commit to one year with the organization

  • Sound computer skills including operating Google Suite
