Through strategic planning, development and implementation of provincial training the Provincial Coordinator, Staff Training and Development ensures the delivery of high quality, support services and client experience, as well as continuous education for staff and support volunteers who deliver dementia support services. Manages the development of identified provincial projects, other than training, to expand the Society’s support services as required.

The Registered Diabetes Nurse Educator functions interdependently with other members of the Diabetes Education Program, clinical and community program teams within a health promotion framework. The Nurse Educator provides diabetes education support and services to clients through individual and group counseling to assist in the transference of knowledge to effectively self manage their diabetes.
