About Ending Violence Association of BC
The Ending Violence Association of BC (EVA BC) is a dynamic, solutions-based provincial non-profit association that trains and supports close to 300 anti-violence programs and cross-sector initiatives across BC that respond to gender-based violence (GBV) including sexual and intimate partner violence.
The programs we support include BC’s Community-Based Victim Services (CBVS), Stopping the Violence Counselling (STVC), STV Outreach (STV ORS) and Multicultural Outreach (STV MORS), and Sexual Assault Services (SAS) as well as a number of community coordination and prevention initiatives.

Position Overview
Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, the Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the overall administrative responsibilities for the various streams of the organization. The duties of this position include tracking stakeholder relations, supporting technology needs, training and event support and logistics, financial tracking, and support for programs/projects arising from the deliverables of the streams. This position will also be part of the overall administrative team of EVA BC to support the operations of the organization.
About You
The ideal candidate must have a strong interest in working collaboratively to end gender-based violence. They will have the ability to work from a survivor-centred, trauma-informed, intersectional, gender-inclusive, anti-oppressive perspective, informed by the ongoing impacts of colonization and a commitment to reconciliation. The position works in a fast-paced office environment with a provincial scope and many competing priorities.
Overview of Key Responsibilities
- Support the overall administration of the organization
- Maintain an up-to-date database of key partners and stakeholders
- Facilitate communications with partners and stakeholders using various communication tools
- Provide logistical/technical support for events, meetings, and trainings, including responding to training inquiries, maintaining schedules, trainer bookings, coordinating registration, providing tech support, and supporting workshop/webinar moderators
- Input online training evaluation and other surveys, using digital tools such as SurveyMonkey, and collate/summarize survey findings
- Organize and track funding proposals, reports, and internal financial systems; assist in preparing contracts and invoices
- Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and record minutes
- Organize mailouts of resources
- Support staff with minor troubleshooting and maintenance of computers and printers
- Provide general office organization and administrative support including electronic file management, as well as ordering supplies and equipment
- As part of the overall administration team, work with others to support the organization’s key deliverables/events as they emerge from time to time
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Minimum of one year of office administration experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience
- Excellent computer skills, preferably using Mac
- Technical skills including ability to use video editing software, perform website maintenance, and knowledge of Adobe applications an asset
- Familiar with learning management systems for online training
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with platforms such as Zoom, Slack, and Learning Management Systems an asset
- Experience in electronic file management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including experience with minute taking
- Detail oriented with proven prioritizing and multitasking skills
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible, work within deadlines, be a collaborative team player, work independently, and show initiative and creativity
- Experience in a non-profit or member-based organization an asset

- The salary range for this position is $45,336 – $55,619.
- This position works primarily from the EVA BC office in Vancouver.
