Armagh has operated a transitional supportive housing facility with 9 apartments for victims of family violence at its current location since May 1991. Since that time Armagh has provided service to women, with or without children, referred from emergency shelters and partner agencies in the Region of Peel. Armagh is the only organization of its kind in the Region of Peel, and families can reside at Armagh for up to two years. Armagh is committed to continuing to provide affordable shelter, assistance, and programming to this vulnerable segment of the Region’s population, empowering women, and their children to lead independent lives free of violence.
