Intake Coordinator (volunteer)

The Intake Coordination team is responsible for gathering all of the necessary information needed to ensure that our moves are as safe and smooth as possible. This involves answering emails and phone calls, and collecting information using provided templates and forms. The Intake Coordinator reports to the Intake Supervisor(s).

Youth Service Navigator

Provide detailed service resources and contact information to youth in need of basic needs such as affordable housing, social support, and other urgent needs. This role fulfills a major need among youth in the community who require support navigating available services and facing overwhelming situations often with minimal help.

Private Sponsorship Volunteer

Settlement teams are responsible for a variety of tasks in advance of, and after the arrival of the newcomer(s) they support. This can include support related to fundraising, securing housing, government paperwork, researching services, welcoming the newcomer(s), and supporting them through a major transitional process. Teams are not asked to provide any of their own funds, and no resettlement experience is required.

Community Prevention Worker – Toronto

Community Prevention Workers provide culturally grounded STBBI & harm reduction education, one-to-one service navigation supports, access to harm reduction supplies and STBBI testing, run drop-in programming and facilitate cultural workshops and educational groups for community. Community Prevention Workers report to the Team Lead with the following areas of responsibilities: Harm Reduction, Community, and Education Programs and Services; Testing, Treatment & Linkage to Care.

Literacy Tutor – Volunteer Position

Volunteers are trained to provide virtual 1-on-1 tutoring in reading, writing, and ESL to vulnerable and marginalized populations across Ontario.

Conseiller(ère) en Genre et Inclusion Sociale – Benin

Le/la conseiller(ère) en genre et inclusion sociale sera responsable de développer une formation sur les questions d’égalité du genre- et d’inclusion sociale, utilisant une perspective intersectionnelle, destinée à nos partenaires dans les deux pays, permettant d’augmenter leurs connaissances et compréhension des concepts, des enjeux et leur offrira les bases nécessaires pour l’intégration de ces questions dans leur travail auprès des communautés locales.

Conseiller(ère) en mobilisation des fonds et développement – RDC

L’objectif général de cette affectation est d’une part, de répertorier les opportunités de financement (ponctuelles ou récurrentes) auxquelles les organisations partenaires de Cuso peuvent répondre, et d’autre part, d’apporter un appui à la conception de documents de projets / propositions qui pourront être soumis aux bailleurs des fonds potentiels (soumission à la suite d’un appel d’offre ou spontanée).
