About Odyssey Theatre
We introduced open-air theatre to Ottawa in 1986. For 37 years, we have been enchanting audiences with our Theatre Under the Stars by the banks of the Rideau River in Strathcona Park. Odyssey’s award-winning productions are renowned for their highly skilled performances and imaginative staging featuring masks and physical movement. We also present exciting theatre online, such as our new audio drama podcast, The Other Path, reaching audiences around the world. The Theatre supports creators of new works, provides training for artists and youth, and engages diverse communities underserved by the arts.
