Peer Support Mentor

This program matches individuals with trained mentors to provide one on one support based on their lived experience with Parkinson’s, either as a person living with Parkinson’s disease, or as a care partner. This connection provides a safe place to brainstorm, share ideas and connect with someone who has similar experiences. You MUST have lived experience as a person living with Parkinson’s Disease or as a Care partner.

English as a Second Language Instructor

Peer Support Facilitator (Virtual and/or In-Person, Ontario)

Volunteers play an integral role in delivering our promise of finding cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and improving the lives of Canadians living with these chronic diseases. Our Gutsy Peer Support Program includes group events that provide a confidential, accessible, and safe-space for individuals living with IBD to connect, gain advice and tips, support one another, and build a sense of community.

Volunteer Program Facilitator

At JA South Western Ontario, we believe in the boundless potential of youth—and we create opportunities for them to explore this potential through hands-on learning.JA programs introduce young learners to financial health, work readiness and entrepreneurship.Volunteers are paired with a class to deliver a JA Program in school. Throughout the session students have an opportunity to ask questions and engage with the volunteer.
