We are looking for a dedicated volunteer to help manage our alumni dog sitting program. You will be responsible for placing dogs with our fosters and dogsitters to raise funds that go towards our rescue. You will match the dog to the foster based on the dog’s needs and the foster homes available, working with the Foster Coordinator as needed.
Bringing a new dog home is an exciting time, but the first few weeks can also be a stressful experience for both the humans and the dog. To ensure our dogs are set up for success from the get go, our post-adoption team was created to support families through basic transitional challenges and to provide a friendly ear.
The Foster Manager (FM) will work closely with the Assistant Foster Managers (AFMs) to support the day-to-day management of the “Foster Team”. As the FM, you’ll wear many different hats from supporting the Assistant Foster Managers, Foster Coordinators, Alumni Dogsitting Coordinators and Fosters to helping with administrative tasks and everything in between! This is a core team role and requires a committed individual willing and able to be “on” (within reason) daily.
While it’s often said that fosters are the backbone of our rescue, behind every amazing foster family is an equally amazing Foster Coordinator (FC). An FC’s primary role is to help our foster families navigate their foster journey from intake through to adoption. As an FC, you’ll wear many different hats from supporting with transitional challenges like potty training and leash walking to providing emotional support when it’s time to say goodbye and everything in between!
The Major Donor Fundraising Coordinator will work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute a major donor fundraising program. The Major Donor Fundraising coordinator must have demonstrated experience in securing philanthropic commitments from individual and corporate donors over $5,000 or greater, and in managing on-going relationships with major donors.
