Summary
Description
The Collective Oncology Network for Exchange, Cancer Care Innovation, Treatment Access and Education (CONECTed) is seeking a person with a diversity of skills and experiences to coordinate and implement the activities of CONECTed, reporting to the co-chairs of the organization and working with its members on a diversity of projects and educational events regarding health policy and particularly health policy impacting oncology patients.
This contract is expected to require approximately 20 hours. Please note CONECTed is an initiative of Save Your Skin Foundation.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Administrative activities for co-chairs including travel coordination
· Event coordination and implementation
· Email list management
· Develop and send event invites
· Development of meeting activities including agenda, materials and follow-up
· Coordination of small group activities
· Coordination of collaborative document writing
· Editing of Papers, submissions, other written materials
· Conduct information research, namely in the area of healthcare and policy
· Develop funding requests including budgets
· Coordination of sub-contractors including writers, translators, PR personnel and graphic designers
· Management of social media activities
· Management of website content
KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
· Experience with managing multiple projects
· Experience in information research
· Experience in event planning
· Experience in office administration
· Attention to detail
· Understanding of social media platforms
· Strong oral and written communications skills
· Independent problem solving
· Collaboration in group settings
· Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
· Proficiency in using shared online calendars
· Basic graphic design skills considered an asset
· French language proficiency an asset
· Experience in government/policy considered an asset, but not required
