Friday Night Volunteer

You’ll be giving back to your community AND having fun. Volunteers help us achieve our mission by making Ottawa a more welcoming place for people with Intellectual Disabilities, Autism and Dual Diagnosis.

Do you have a hobby or interest you’d like to share?

As a natural supports provider, your role will be to develop a supportive relationship with a person who has an intellectual disability while doing an activity you both enjoy. We are looking for someone who: is friendly and personable; is mature and responsible; respects commitments; is open and willing to learn about intellectual disabilities. Swimming Companion

This is a great chance to have FUN while making a meaningful contribution to someone’s life! You will be helping us achieve our mission of helping the Ottawa community be a more welcoming place for people with intellectual disabilities, Autism and Dual Diagnosis.

Social Engagement and Activity Volunteer

The Social Engagement and Activity position is a great place for volunteers to engage with the community directly, build relationships and learn about the community while working with a vulnerable population. The volunteer will be able to develop their skills working as part of a team and see the impact of their actions immediately.

Meal Service Volunteer

The Meal Service Volunteer shift is a great place for volunteers to engage with residents directly, build relationships and learn about the community while working with a vulnerable population. The goal of the Meal Service Volunteer is to ensure that all residents have access to meals 3 times a day and can do so in a supportive environment.

Orleans Donor Centre Volunteer

As a Donor Centre Volunteer, you’ll be the welcoming face that donors see when they arrive to give the gift of life. Your duties will include greeting donors with a warm smile, engaging in friendly conversations, and offering refreshments to create a comfortable and positive experience.
