Relief Staff-female

The Residential Support Worker will support the Assistant to the Shelter Director. This position is under the supervision of the Shelter Director-Oshki Kizis Lodge. The Residential Support Workers are responsible for providing culturally appropriate, safe space for women and children within a Violence Against Women specific shelter and the efficient operation of a 24-hour crisis line.

STORM/HT Outreach Worker (female)

The primary responsibility of the STORM/HT Outreach Worker is to provide evening support to First Nation, Inuit, & Métis women who are involved or at risk of becoming involved in the sex trade.

Transitional Support Worker (TSW female) – Interim

The Transitional Support Worker reports to the Director of Shelter Operations and focusses primarily on support for the practical needs of women who have left Oshki Kizis Lodge and have been in the community for two to three months. The TSW also assists women from the Indigenous, Metis, and Inuit community who may need practical support resulting from domestic violence but who were not residents of the Shelter. Assistance to current Shelter residents is determined by their readiness to move.

Volunteer Case Management Assistant

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and meticulous individual to take on the role of Volunteer Case Management Assistant within our Refugee Ministry Office. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our management processes, particularly focusing on the management of Police Record Checks (PRCs) and supporting our Case Managers in monitoring tasks.
