The First Step Program is a new multifaceted program aimed to complement existing services by providing service users a central access point and individualized system navigation to understanding what community services are available to meet their needs, how they access them and receive the one-on-one support needed to take the first step. We strive to minimize barriers to access by offering both virtual and in-person services without requiring a diagnosis or referral, and at no cost to the participant seeking help. We also provide awareness-raising learning opportunities and training to helping professionals.
