Hoarding Support Volunteer (Mental Health)

Purpose: Help to increase overall health and well-being and improve quality of life of our clients in the Volunteer Hoarding Support Program. The program is designed to help vulnerable, isolated individuals with hoarding tendencies de-clutter, sort and organize their homes. Developed from a harm reduction approach, we provide clients with opportunities that help improve their social, physical, mental and emotional health.

Mentor/Volunteer for Community Connection Mentorship Program (CCMP)

We are effectively recruiting Mentor/Volunteer every month for our Community Connection Mentorship Program. If you are professional, good at communication and willing to support Newcomers with your knowledge/skills, be out Mentor.

Mentor/Mentee Position

Mothers to Daughters, a for-impact organization whose focus is to bridge intergenerational gaps amongst women, is currently seeking volunteers to participate in the Guiding Lights Pilot Program.

Private Sponsorship Volunteer

Settlement teams are responsible for a variety of tasks in advance of, and after the arrival of the newcomer(s) they support. This can include support related to fundraising, securing housing, government paperwork, researching services, welcoming the newcomer(s), and supporting them through a major transitional process. Teams are not asked to provide any of their own funds, and no resettlement experience is required.

Literacy Tutor – Volunteer Position

Volunteers are trained to provide virtual 1-on-1 tutoring in reading, writing, and ESL to vulnerable and marginalized populations across Ontario.
