According to the recently released EY 2022 Work Reimagined Survey, employers and employees have widely different perspectives on the world of work moving into 2024. The research found that 34% of employees are willing to change jobs in the next 12 months, and another 43% indicated that they are likely to leave their employer in the next year. Based on the study, compensation remains the primary consideration for employees. EY notes that cultivating trust and adopting a people-centric leadership model is linked to significantly improved organizational outcomes, this should be a top consideration for employers. Respondents indicated that organizations should focus on upskilling and reskilling their workforce to remain competitive. The research also delves into Generative AI and its benefits to the productivity of organizations and employees.
