Engage and Change is inviting agencies serving the homeless community in Toronto, the Greater Toronto Area, and Southwestern Ontario to apply for Project Winter Survival. Eligible organizations will receive sleeping bags and Winter Survival Kits to distribute to the homeless community to help them survive winter. These kits contain desperately needed items (sleeping bag, backpack, winter accessories, personal care items) that can help the homeless community survive. Since its inception, Project Winter Survival has assembled and distributed close to 50,000 kits, that can make the difference between life and death.  Based on previous years, requests will likely exceed availability. Apply as soon as possible to the program – once all applications have been reviewed and approved, the Project Winter Survival team will be in touch to make arrangements for pick-up.
